The Shops of Fremont Square in the Weed Street District

In 1988, CRM acquired 2 acres of land over four separate parcels within the North Avenue, Halsted Street, and Clybourn Avenue triangle (Weed Street District). Originally developed with a Lettuce Entertain You Restaurant, Bub City, the project helped re-establish the neighborhood from an industrial corridor into the retail and entertainment destination it is today.

The Shops of Fremont is located along the North/Clybourn retail corridor of Chicago and includes 59,656 rentable square feet of class A retail. Phase I, completed in April 2014, includes 15,000 rentable square feet and is occupied by Anthropologie and Williams-Sonoma. Phase II of property is now completed and occupied by DSW, LOFT, Xfinity, White House | Black Market and Athleta.
